I found the most intriguing presentation was the one on Ruby Bridges (by Huckleberry, Lizzie, and Genevieve). This was because of the unfairness of what the protesters were doing. Just because of her skin colour, she had to have a Federal Marshall escort to school, only eat food brought from home, and be taught apart from other students and taught by a specialized teacher. Her grandparents were thrown off their land in Mississippi, and her father lost his job. This was incredibly unfair, and seemed to have no justified reason behind it. Thankfully some sympathizers gave her father a job, and protected their house at night from the racist protesters. What was truly amazing was when she became an adult, not only did she not become bitter and angry, she founded an organization to help other kids in her situation. I found this presentation interesting because of how well the group presented it, and the captivating hero they chose.
